CORINTHIAN STYLE ARMOR&HELMET - SPARTANS WARRIORS

This is a beautiful Corinthian style armor with helmet. This unique item is made of bronze material , giving the piece a classic appearance. Every piece is unique because it is hand made. It was made in Greece, stands 46 centimeters high when it is on the stand and weighs approximately 5.3 kg. The prototype for these helmets is the plain, uncrested Corinthian style of the 6th century BC. Originals of these can be seen in museums across the world, but the prototypes are in the Goulandris Collection in the Museum of Cycladic Art. These helmets&armors, as with all our other bronze items, are cast in Greece, using the traditional \'lost wax\' method. The uncrested helmets are cast in one, the crested ones in two parts, then the crest inserted. You can still see the \'wax marks\' on the inside. They range from \'battle-scarred\' (rough surface with the occasional \'hole\') to \'smooth\'. Also, please allow for variations of a millimetre or two from the specified height.
