Our Antique Cast Iron has been professionally restored by us. We have over 40 years experience in this area.We carefully clean our pieces down to bare cast iron. We Re-season property and expertly with 100%natural edible vegetable based oils including – Organic Natural Flax Seed Oilin a multi-stage process. These are the highest quality seasoning available inthe profession. Drying oil is an oil that hardens to a tough solid film afterexposure to air. The oil hardens thruchemical reactions in which the components cross-link (polymerize) by theaction of oxygen (rather than thru the evaporation of water or other solvents). Initial seasoning is all important and anexcellent start to years of seasoning to come.It is ready for a lifetime of use.
Free of Cracks /Rust / Repairs Cooking surface shown in images. Bottom is very nice. Marks and Logo are nice and clear as shown in images. Tested for Flatness on both a Ceramic Glass Cook-Top and a Glass TopRange as well as Polished Marble and Plate Glass. Please see all of our images.We did not test cooking on these range surfaces.
