This is a group of 6 vintage stoneware animal mugs by Pigeon Forge Pottery, made in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. They are light tan or taupe and slightly speckled both inside and outside. Four have glazed yellow insides, one is turquoise blue inside, and one is tan inside. Two mugs feature roosters, two feature chickens, one shows a fox and one shows a bear. These are rather small, about 3\" tall and 2-3/4\" in diameter and hold about6 ounces. The C-shaped handle is comfortable and large enough for three fingers.
