Handwoven in the heart of Gullah Country, Charleston South Carolina, this is a lovely handled tray with 6 woven drink coasters. Sweetgrass Baskets are one of the oldest African American art forms known today. These are made by local women who have passed the craft down from generation to generation, and there aren\'t that many artists that are following the tradition. The set is in very good, clean condition. There are 2 threads missing on one of the coasters and a red \"mark\" on another coaster. No other deterioration or splits. This set would cost approx. $250 brand new. Non smoking, non pet hair environ.The tray measures 14\" wide total, and 2\" high. The drink coasters measure 3-1/4: wide x 1\" tall. They should fit a standard size drinking glass.
