This two weight Gustav Becker Vienna Regulator is from my late husband\'s clock shop. It has been in storage then moved here to my home. In moving it will no longer run and I am unable to locate the topper. I will sell the clock for repair and hope someone can put her back to original running condition. I\'ll describe to the best of my knowledge and ask that you enlarge all pictures to see the beauty of this clock.
Case measures 41\" high and is dark walnut. The door is on good hinges with half carved columns on each side. The bottom glass in the door is wavy. There is side glass to view the movement. At the inside bottom of the case is the original beat keeper. The movement is easily mounted on a 4 post bracket.There are many fancy brass embellishments on the case front. All case parts look to be matching & original. As I said, there is no topper but I will keep looking.
The brass 8 day weight driven movement will need professional restoring. The dial center, weights & pendulum are all matching etched brass. On the back of the movement is the GB logo & the Medaille D\'Or symbol along with the serial #469235. The two etched weights hang from cord & brass pully wheels. The 6\" brass etched pendulum matches the weights & dial. The 7-1/4\" dial is in a brass bezel with an etched center ring. The chapter ring is scuffed. I believe this clock dates to the early 1900\'s.
