1907 to 1914 three quarter Gustav Stickley bed, purchased at sale in the late 1980\'s by seller. As a point of reference (2) three quarter beds are the width of a queen size bed.
This bed appears in all points to be original finish and has only received colored waxing since the purchase at a local sale in the 80\'s.
The bed is rock steady with no movement in the joints or wobble and very strong. The rail lengths are 75 inches long and the width tapers to larger at the bottom, it measures assures about 45 inches near the top. We used a hard foam base covered with a IKEA futon mattress which works perfect. Size within the box area 42.5 by 75.
Height of headboard is 44 inches and 38 on footboard.
There are some nicks here and there see pictures but I have not had a better medium finish Gus piece in the past. Latch hardware at end of rails has two locks, one is broken off each rail and this has been that way and used that way since our original purchase. See last two pictures.
