WOW! I cannot believe I am liquidating my collection, but with time - comes changes in priorities! When have you EVER seen another one of these lamps? You might see the Fulper Base (Vase) on a rareoccasion, but NEVER a complete lamp.
Gustav \"Gus\" Stickley No. 51 Table Lamp with an Early Fulper Base in a Cucumber Green (Brownish Tones) Molten Glaze ... Circa 1911 - 1916. The Japanese Wicker Shade is an excellent reproduction. Thehardware (3 sockets) are original - including the acorn pulls. It has been professionally rewired with \"period\" cord and plug.
The overall lamp height is 21\" and the shade is 18\" in diameter - 7\" high. The original retail price from Gustav Stickley was $16.50.
According to Dr. Jon Kornacki (Fulper.net), this lamp is triple marked...a Squat Rectangular Ink Mark, a Vasekraft ink Mark and a Model Number (66 or 99) Ink Mark. He stated this is the only complete example of this Gus No. 51 Lamp he has seen.
This lamp is in perfect condition...no damage whatsoever.
