Description:A nice example of the first printing of the first edition. Scarce. Original hardback in the original dustwrapper. 196 pages with black and white illustrations by H M Bateman. The dustwrapper is in attractive condition, with a little wear to its extremities, and a tear to the bottom of the front cover (see pictures). The book appears to be unread with some pages still uncut. Light foxing to page edges and leaves (see pictures). Free of inscriptions. Binding sound and square. A nice copy of this very scarce book.
