HALF SHEET OF 12 SCRAPS. GENUINE VINTAGE COLLECTABLE. \"GAINSBOROUGH LADIES\" Printed in ENGLAND in the 1950s or earlier. These DIE CUT PAPER STICKERS FEATURE FAMOUS BRITISH BEAUTIES IN HISTORICAL FASHION. The SCRAPS were produced & \"Printed in England\" with a Series Number 906 M.P. This Logo precedes the Mamelok Press Limited (MPL) LOGO version from about 1958. Each DISC is approximately 45 X 25 MM. The LADY\'S DRESSES HAVE DELIGHTFUL DETAIL & are printed in a repeating PATTERN OF SIX. They are A \"MODERN\" VERSION of the 1880\'s \"Famous British Beauties: Past and Present\" popular as Calendars for Business Houses [SEE LAST PHOTO]. These stickers are GENUINE OLD Inventory Stock and some discs are AGE APPROPRIATELY creased or separated. QUARTER sheets of 6 SCRAPS are available. I also have incomplete sheets of 23 with one or 22 two ladies missing. The scraps were sourced from a Brisbane Lolly Factory that imported Stickers FROM ENGLAND & GERMANY in the 1920s - 1960s to embellish Sugar Candy Easter Eggs & Chocolates.
