Description

Thisitem isa very Rare hand carvedWooden Mallet. It has a carved face of a bearded man or Santa Claus on the large end.

It is signed Earl Houck USA. Earl passed away on December28, 2010. He rarely carved faces, concentrating mostly on duck decoys, birds, and other animals.

The Mallet measures overallabout 10 1/4 inches long. The Handle is about 8 5/8 inches long X 5/8 inch at the end. The carved end measures about 1 1/2 inches across X 3 inches high. The carving is about 2 1/8 inches X 1 3/8 inches.

There is a small darkarea on the bottom of the carved end (see photo). Otherwise this very RARE, Signed Mallet is in Very Good condition!
