This is an sale for a reverse painted Chrysanthemum table lamp by Handel. It is in excellent original condition. The domical shade is in \"chipped\", lightly \"sand-finished\" glass. This lamp\'s presence is undeniable. It is beautiful lit or unlit and would look lovely in most any setting. It is 22\" in height. There is no damage to the glass or the base. offer with confidence. The buyer is responsible for shipping this lamp. I am willing to help with arrangements for shipping if needed. I\'m happy to answer any questions you may have which are not answered in the description above. I have added an image of the signature inside the shade. It says: Handel 7123 P---in red lettering. ( the \"P\" is for the artist.) The shade is signed twice; once on the shade ring and again on the inside of the shade itself at the bottom interior. The base is unmarked unless I\'m missing it. The base is bronze or copper clad over white metal. I have seen a number of these bases in this Chinese-inspired design and all were \"unsigned\". I don\'t doubt this one is original. The sockets are Hubbell with acorn pulls and their patina I\'d say is essentially untouched. I believe this lamp to be right in all aspects. There is a similar example of this lamp with the same number and a different initial for a different artist on page 176 of the limited edition book: Handel Lamps, Painted Shades and Glassware by Robert De Falco, Carol Goldman Hibel and John Hibel.
