Up for sale with is a very nice 1947 Art Deco English Sterling Silver Cigarette or Desk Box. These Boxes have become very popular with collectors as they make a very nice addition to a desk to hold your cell phone, keys, spare cash and loose change etc. This beauty features incredibly finely detailed Machined designs to the entire surface and best of all has never been monogrammed. Also I normally find these Boxes beat to pudding but this beauty is in excellent condition with only one small rear corner dent which is very minor. The Box also retains the original Cedar Wood interior and the original divided which can be placed in a few different positions. The Box is a nice size for many different uses measuring6-3/4 inches long by3-1/2 inches wide and sits1-1/2 inches tall. The Box also has a nice quality total weight of497 grams. The Box is fully Hallmarked for John Rose, Birmingham England, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter for 1947. This would make a great gift for the man who has everything !
