Description A beautifullargeantiqueWalthamrolled gold/gold casedfull hunterpocket watch in good condition and dating from around 1895. Excellent quality genuine 110+ year old watch and a handsome full-sized example; has a fine rolled gold case with additional front lid/cover with a lovely original white enamel dial with black roman numerals and inside has a nice original movement stamped Am Watch Co, Waltham, Mass. Also stamped \"non-magnetic\" and has the movement number 5520192.It is in working order and when running keeps good time. It does stop occasionally and just needs a service/oiling, it has come direct from a private estate and would not have been done for many years. As a bonus there are no added personal engraved inscriptions or monograms.

MeasurementsLarge size, measures approx 2.05 inches (52mm) in diameter, excluding stem, and is 0.65 (17mm) deep.

DateAntique late Victorian rolled gold/gold cased,stamped on inner cover \"G.W.C Co Planet\". The movement stamped Am Watch Co, Waltham Mass. Dates from around 1895-1900.

ConditionGoodcondition,and inworking order.It winds the full length of the spring, there are nosplits or cracks to the case, no repairs and no nasty knocks or dents, a nice clean example. The rolled gold casing is original and with hardly any wear.The enamel dial and protective inner glass are both original, the front lid does not spring open, I am not sure whether it did originally or not, but both front and rear cover, and inner cover open and close securely. It is a good timekeeper, it does stop occasionally but just needs a service/oiling as it would not have been done for many years. There are no added engraved inscriptions or monograms.
