Offered for sale is this wonderful vintage chair.TheHarry Bertoiaside chair measures30\'in overall height x21\"in width . The wire cage backrest measures19 3/4\"in width. It is17\"in height to the bottom of the seat from the floor and the seat depth measures18 1/2\".The wire rod mesh cage design also is coated from the factory, with a white applied coating to protect the steel wire from moisture and the subsequent, inevitable rusting experienced by uncoated chairs. ThisHarry Bertoiaside chair, as a result, suffers no rust issues or spotting. The coating has held over time and the chair, all its welds and joints, are all intact and clean, nearly in original condition. There \'s only no UVA and UVB solar degradation of the pristine white color, giving the chair more of a very clean white appearance. I haven\'t bleached or used any astringent cleaners in an attempt to \'further whiten the wire cage coating.\' It\'s in original, \'as found\' condition and since it was so close to being in its original state, I left it completely alone. The Tan,ButterscotchBrown vinyl, padded seat and back cushion is also original to the chair and is in terrific condition, without any breaks, tears, or other issues affecting the face or rolled cord edging. It\'s in remarkable original condition and the color is not faded a bit. The seat still has excellent, vivid color and would considered it to be in excellent condition. The cover has only been gently cleaned with dish soap and warm water to remove some surface grime. The chair had been in a home for some time and only recently came to market, being offered at an estate sale. It was found in West Bloomfield Michigan near the Cranbrook Institute. What\'s truly remarkable about ThisHarry Bertoiafor Knoll wire cage side chair hasn\'t been messed with or redone, as so manyhave been, due to exposure to the elements and to the destructive effects of moisture, from being out on an exposed porch, deck or patio. This chair seems to have spent all of its life indoors. There is a Blue paper stamp from TheCommonwealthofPennsylvania that looks like a Tax Stamp on the Knoll label. I am not an expert on these chairs, so exactly when they were made I cant say. I\'m sure buyers here will be able to tell by the label, construction and other hints what the age of these fine chars is.If you have any questions or need any close up pictures, please don\'t hesitate to ask.
