Up for sale is this Haviland Limoges France 9 inch bowl with pink center Rose decoration. The shape is Blank # 1 (also known as \"Ransom\").The decoration is very reminiscent of Haviland\'s popular Baltimore Rose pattern...possibly a variant! It features the large pink rose thorned stem in the center/side with green leaves. These roses have hand painted highlights. The raised pattern ruffled edges are heavily gold encrusted with a double gold trim. Beneath this trim is a wreath of blue roses on green leaf stems with pink flowers. Below this is a gold designed pattern. The overall effect is a wonderful Art Nouveau inspired design, once again quite similar to Scleiger #1151 Baltimore Rose. Fully marked on the bottom, in green, \"Haviland France\" and, in red, \"Haviland & Co. Limoges\". This mark dates the piece from 1894-1931. In nice shape with no chips, cracks or crazing. Colors are clear and bright. A great piece in nice shape offered with !!!
