A high qualityantique English, solid sterling silverhandbag / purse; beautifully made from very finely woven meshed \'chain mail\', withhinged snap-top closure andsilver chain strap.

High quality,over 100 years old and in wonderful original condition - much larger than usual and very usable!

CONDITION: All original and generally very good. Slightest signs of wear and faint denting/distortion commensurate with age and use. Closure spot on. Maybe wants a a clean and polish.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Stamped \'925\'. English import hallmark for London 1901. Sponsor\'s marks PE.

DIMENSIONS:Approx. 8 x 7inches overall, excl. strap(1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 362.6grams.
