Eastern style. Herend\'s Mille Fleurs décor is more restrained and airy version. The tiny floral motifs are scattered over the snow-white porcelain surface, edged with rich gilding. The finest brushwork goes into the translucent blue, yellow, mauve and red shades of the petals, surrounded by pastel green and blue foliage. Herend painters have portrayed here the realm of flowers in the Bakony Hills - the most famous nature preservations in Hungary. Backside is marked with standard Herend blue mark used since 1949. It has mold number and motif code 7785-0-00 /MF. Other marking is 7, H98 and 731 written in blue as well as ‘Herend’ and ‘7785/3’ incised on the backside.

Ashtray measures about 2 ¼" x 3 ½". Condition is immaculate with no cracks or chips found. Colors are bright and vibrant. Gold has no wear. Please take a look at the pictures to find out more about this item.
