This clock comes in CAST IRON with a GORGEOUS RED COPPER Clockface,
very much wanted among collectorsand (re) sellers.....
The most special thing about this time piece is definately the way it keeps
time, by means of a MECHANICAL battery driven movement, running at least
ONE YEAR on a battery (available at any supermarket).
The battery driven, electromagnetic, pendulum drivenmovement, functions
100% andhas all benefits of a common movement, but with the advantage that
you néver have to wind it.
The mechanical movement runs PERFECTLY ON TIME!
Note that this beauty hasa 3 bar chime too!
This clock was made in the early 1960\'s,but runs like it was made yesterday.
The movementruns \"on the second\"and the chime is very warm!
Everything is beautifully balanced in this piece; it all matches!
The time is shown inENGRAVED black, Roman numbers
The black, METAL hands come ina sunshapeand are a Work of Art.
The movement is Marked with the HERMLE mark; the clockface has the
name HERMLE engraved in it, making this a DOUBLE MARKED clock, which
is definately of added value!
Everything is original and it passed time without major cosmetic issues.
This object is in a GREAT Conditionbut not new.
Used products have signs of use.
