NOTES: A popular account of the American War of Independence from the French perspective. A complete history also incorporating some non-American theaters of combat, but primarily focused on the French expeditionary contributions and achievements during the conflict.

CONDITION: VERY GOOD. Joints rubbed but not open. Hinges all good. Corners rubbed. Head caps perished. Tail caps worn but present. Pages clean with extensive research penciling in Vol.1 flypage and on title pages of Vol.1 and 2 lightly completing the author name. Very minimal and occasional light spotting. Occasional cancelans. Bookplate of Camille Jacques.

BINDING: Full mottled calf and banded spine, gilt decorated.
