HO Brass UnionPacific CA-1 Wood Cupola Caboose. Custom Painted Tuscan circa 1923-1940’s, NO Lettering. Produced in Japan for Alco Models in 1970\'s. NICE!
Union Pacific’s fleet of CA ‘Common Standard’ seriescabooses began with the CA-1 around 1914. This model represents caboose #2641built in the 1920’s. The Tuscan redlivery example represents the car from built date until the post-War era, whenUP initiated the Yellow paint scheme on their cabooses.
The model is painted a uniform matte Tuscan. No window material has been installed. There are some scuffs on the roof. The original soldering appears to be strong, straight and clean. Thewheels have some excess paint, but don’t show any wear. The original box and packing material is included .
