This antique colonial 18th century imprinted Scottish bible is a rare find indeed, with a nice genealogical application for the Hines and Hatch family of Falmouth, Mass. from the late 1700s-late 1800s. Bound in fantastic gilt bordered and ruled panelled Cambridge style leather, with raised bands, red and gilt title label and gilt rule to the spine. Hinges intact. All pages bound. Royal vignettes to the title pages as well as woodcut initials. Includes the Apocrypha. Unmarked and mostly clean within; a few cases of soiling and browning, a few scattered stains, otherwise good shape. Family history applied to last page of OT, as shown. Good luck!
