Bronco Horses at Royal Aquarium Show

1880s Antique Print

A circus made up of trick horse performers. The star is Nettles, and she jumps over the back of four other horses. Other feats are the horses passing a hankerchief, hiding it and then finding it. Jumping through a ring of fire. Choosing the American Flag, rolling a barrell. And two see-saw events. The show was held at the Royal Aquarium in Westminster England.

I believe this was an early precurser to the Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show, which began the same year in the USA.
