Chrome vinyl has a protective film on it that should be removed after installation.

Installation Instructions and Tips:

-Clean your phone, remove any oily fingerprints and/or residue.

-Keep transfer tape on design to keep pieces aligned.

-Line up neatly before applying any pressure, once satisfied, apply pressure to adhere the skin.

----There are two best ways to align, and that is by starting with the camera and HTC logo, or by starting at the side with volume and sd card, lined up with edge of the phone. I prefer from the side, since straight lines are easier to align than circles and letters.

----One thing that can help, is to cut the paper backing in half, and place it under the logo, to keep that from sticking before you get it fully lined up. You can slowly and carefully (so not to stretch) peel off the skin if you haven\'t applied pressure, but the small nature of the logo pieces can cause them to stay adhered and become misaligned.

-Use hair dryer on back of volume/sim cutouts and edge curves to get better forming, then press and hold until cool.

-Remove clear protective film from skin. Rubbing against an edge with your finger should cause it to lift up. Transfer tape should come away easily with film.

-Be gentle with phone for a day or two, while the adhesive cures, to keep corners from peeling up. After some time, the strength of the adhesive will increase.

-To remove, just pick at an edge/corner and peel off. Residue shouldn\'t be an issue, and any small bits of residue can be easily rubbed off.
