For your viewing pleasure I am selling the most wonderful antique Kestner socket head doll. I\'ll start from top to bottom, please read carefully. This doll measures 35\" long nude with no wig. She has her original plaster pate marked 18. The only mark she has on her head is her size mark of 17. (see pictures) She has an 18\" head circumference. Just the head measures 9 1/2\" tall. I have this gorgeous doll in a photo with my gorgeous daughter to show you how big this doll is. She is the size of a Patti Playpal doll. I was told that she was considered to be an exhibition piece that would have been used to sell smaller dolls, and or used as a mannequin. This doll was never really intended to be a toy. This doll has an exceptional face and stationary brown eyes. I think that her eyes were made stationary at some point in her 125 year old history. She has a vintage wig that was carefully chosen by her present owner. The only flaw in the bisque appears to be an area by the crown of her head in back. I\'ve taken several pictures of this flaw. She has some repaint on her hands, and what appears to be a repaired foot. This beautiful girl (her owner calls her Tallula Belle) has the wonderful square teeth that the early Kestner\'s are known for. She is coming to the next owner with a carefully chosen antique full length gown, modern tights, old hat, and vintage shoes. I think that Tallula Belle will look amazing in an antique child\'s dress. This doll does not belong to me, I\'m selling it for a friend who is down sizing. The present owner has requested that a fair reserve be put on the doll. The doll is in my possession and will be shipped by me with full insurance.
