I have up for sale simply the ABSOLUTE BEST Victorian Scrapbook circa 1880s to 1930s . Its HUGE , the largest and Best that I have seen in my 30 years of collecting and dealing. The book measures approx 22-1/4\" x 18\" x 2\" thick and weighs approx 15 lbs, has approx 58 pages with misc Die Cuts, Trade Cards, Calendar Tops, Mag Covers, etc. The book spans from approx the late 1880s to 1930s. I believe that this was one person\'s life endeavor. The book itself is a 1907 Spring and Summer CONTINENTAL TAILORING Chicago sample book . Anyone who has ever seen one of these old sample books, understands just how big they are . The calendar tops are large and really impressive, there are not a ton of them but the ones that are there are impressive.
This is my best price, the die cuts are phenomenal and its by far the largest book of this sort that I have ever seen.Most of the Calendar Tops relate to Mid Wisconsin , there is one full page Calendar Top Die Cut with advertising from the UNION STAR CHEESE FACTORY Fremont, Wi Henry Metzeg proprietor this is shown in pic 11. Page 1 features a full page Calendar Top Die Cut - advertising for ALFRED NEUBAUER Hardware ,Stoves, Tinware,Groceries, etc - Winneconne , Wi. Page 2 features another full page Calendar Top Die Cut - GRAND UNION TEA CO copyright 1908, Page 3 has several die cuts but the oldest is of the child riding the sled - this is dated 1893 HORSFORD\'S calendar. There are many images which appear to be newspaper or magazine cut outs, some appear to be old picture prints which were cropped. One of the pages features several pictures of Winnebago County - the Court House , Poor House, Work House, Insane Asylum, the County Jail and Sheriffs Residence. Another page has a large cut out from the Milwaukee Journal featuring a Boy Scout and Merit Badges. As you page thru the book it get later in time, the last page is of an elderly woman Easter 1935. There are two full pages relating to architecture , with pictures of homes in the 1930s. Many wonderful large Calendar Tops and lots of misc mag cut outs. Just a sensational item .

The book has some normal age and use wear, it is not perfect. There are some minor tears and general wear , the covering on the spine is torn as you can see from the pics.
I WILL NEED TO SPECIAL ORDER A BOX IN ORDER TO PACKAGE THE SCRAP BOOK DUE TO ITS LARGE SIZE, this will require me to use a Specialty Box store and it will take approx 5 days.
ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics.
IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED -CONTACT ME ASAP - KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM. YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING ,PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
