Hello & Welcome to my Eye Antiques sale! I love Antique Scientific and Medical Equipment and have a fair collection of the various types. This sale represents my attempt to trim my collection a bit, to allow room for other interests and so others may enjoy also. For those of you who enjoy Optometry Antiques and the History thereof - or just love interesting and antique Scientific Apparatus and Devices - then here is a very, very good opportunity to gather early Eye-Exam & Diagnostic Tools from the sciences\' Early Eras, and to enjoy the hands-on examination of these types of tools at your own leisure.. Everything in these photographs is included and all are various ages (from the early-to-mid 1800\'s) and states of repair (from nearly-new condition to quite well-used). You be the judge of the Condition and Inventory of these rare items by inspecting the Photographs, please. You will receive about 20 Boxed Sets, including one Mueller Scope Set and one early Wappler Scope Set - neither of these related to Optometry, but you get them anyway. As a bonus. As if you need one here but you will enjoy them, too and both of these sets are in quite good condition..

You will receive many sets of various Opthalmoscopes, plus at least one each of \'\'Liebreichs Opthalmoscope\'\' and I think two or three sets of \'\'Lorings\' Opthalmoscope\'\'. You will find one or two of \'\'May\'s Opthalmoscope\'\'.. Not all sets are complete and some are in disrepair. Most are in very good, display-able condition. Above, a \'\'Color-Blindness Test Kit\'\' full of colors.. Yes, there is a lot here. These sets of Opthalmoscopes can range in price from $50 or $60 bucks for the most common sets to a few hundred dollars each for good, complete \'\'Liebreichs\'\' or \'\'Lorings\'\' Opthalmoscope sets, of which you have a few here. Mother-of-Pearl Opera Glasses that really work and were made in Buffalo, N.Y. in the late 1800\'s!! This larger French set of Opera Glasses is even clearer and both are included.. Many of the sets you will receive are in very, very good condition and you will be very happy with your new collection of Antiques and Vintage Items here. Pince Nez-type glasses/clip-ons.. Above is a neat pair of Civil War-Era glasses with Pull-Out adjustable Arms (A similar pair over $100.00 on right now).. I do not know what these Eye-Pliers-Things were designed to do, but they are stamped \'\'American Optical\'\' and come with this collection..
