This is a one of a kind, custom made men\'s ring with a huge cushion cut tanzanite. The stone measures approximately 12X10mm and weighs about 10ct. It is actually over 11ct, but I believe based solely on the dimensions of the stone, it would appraise at at least 10ct, so I am calling it 10ct to be safe. It is surrounded by about .66 ct of white, bright, fiery diamonds. The diamonds are small but provide a great frame for the stone and really give off a nice \"halo\" of sparkle in sunlight.
The tanzanite is a deeply saturated violet blue with flashes of pink and reddish-pink in the right light. I think the pictures accurately show the color although lighting makes a big difference. It tends to display more of the deep violet tones in indoor light and more of the deep blue tones in natural light.
The ring is set in a simple, masculine setting of high polished 14K white gold with a squared off shank and sits very comfortably on the finger despite being large and weighing over 19 grams. The overall dimensions of the top of the ring at about 18mm north-south and 15mm east-west, and it tapers down to about 7mm in the back. It is in excellent pre-owned condition and has only been worn a handful of times.
This is a one of a kind ring I had custom made after buying the stone loose. You will never see another one like this. I have debated for a long time about listing it and am only doing so because I have built up a nice collection of tanzanite and wear my other ones more than this one. However, I am 100% happy to keep this ring, so please do not email me with offers or asking if I will take a lower price, because if I don\'t get my asking price, I truly would rather keep it and have no problem doing so.
