DESCRIPTION:This is a Designer Workshop Hagen-Renaker “Brookside Stella” Hackney, from the San Marcos factory era – in the very rare Glossy finish – Light Bay in color.

This San Marcos Hackney was made from Fall 1983 to Spring 1985. However, when H-R first issued this model, she was only available in the matte finish. H-R didn’t offer her in the glossy finish until later – and very few of them were made, before she was discontinued and the company closed that factory, no longer producing those DW models.

She comes with a ceramic base, which she is not attached to. Instead, they made the base separate, with a metal pole inserted into the base. The pole is designed to go up into the horse’s belly, through the air-hole. It is a perfect fit, and gives the model stability.

She is in Mint Condition (no breaks, chips, or flaws), and has very good detail, especially for this particular mold. No visible crazing. She has the H-R sticker on her belly, and the bottom of the base has the H-R stamp. She measures approximately 5 ½” high, by 6” long.
