This Haggadah was produced by Saul Raskin, a Jewish artist born in 1878 in Ukraine, but who moved to the United States, where he lectured and taught on Jewish subjects until his death in 1966. This book has the traditional liturgy for a Jewish Passover seder in both Hebrew and English, but with NO transliteration. It is read from back to front, as a Hebrew book normally is read.It is lavishly illustrated with Raskin\'s drawings in black and a few other colors, used singly. The drawings are large and striking, with subjects ranging from simple table objects to dramatic scenes of the Exodus. Anyone who celebrates Passover would enjoy owning this special book, which adds depth and understanding to the meaning of the traditional words. NOTE: Passover begins this year on April 10.
