Interesting hallmarked silver tea set (Birmingham 1924), comprising teapot, sugar bowl and milk / cream jug. The teapot is engraved: Presented To Alexander Mack Esq. Headmaster Brownhill C of E Schools 1918 - 1925. By Friends & Parishioners Of St Saviours Church, Brownhill, Batley, As A Slight Token Of Appreciation Of 7 1/2 Years Devoted Service To Church And School. Nov 24th 1925.The whole lot weighs 583g. Length of teapot 22.5cm. A nice piece of Batley local history, it is lightly tarnished and will easily polish by hand to a very high standard. Batley is near Dewsbury, Birstall and Morley.Postage:
