DESCRIPTION:Deck watch - Hamilton model 22 US Navy Bureau of ships 21J deck watch, 35-size, ca 1942, base metal original screw back case with missing bezel, stem-wind stem-set with safety pin to release setting (depress pin to be able to pull out stem - the watch is not pin-set as it may look), original silvered dial, fully capped lever escapement with antimagnetic auto compensating solid monometallic balance & Elinvar class hairspring system, plain parallel pattern nickel damascene movement, s#2F7546.

CONDITION:Staff has good motion but watch only runs briefly and stops, no bezel as indicated but correct crystal is included, excellent dial with one scratch near 1, excellent hands, sold as a parts only item, has great potential for restoration with a replacement bezel and service to the movement.
