\"Hammered Penny\" necklace. Possibly a woman\'s breast plate. I think it is about 10 - 12 years old. Bought this for my frame-gallery-gift shop from a company that made new but \"authentic\" Native American crafts, jewelry, shields, spears, etc. I can\'t remember the name of the company & have lost the paper work. It was promoted to have been made the way & with the same type of materials that the Plains Indians would have used (except for Eagle feathers, of course). 12 hammered pennies, you can see a ghosted image of Lincoln & the Lincoln Memorial on them, some more noticeable than others. Made with bone, beads & leather.
Dimensions: Main body of the necklace is 17+\" the braided leather chains ~13\" or so
