This uniquely crafted wood folk art carving is made from aparasitic plant, a mushroom-likegrowth that embeds itself into thebark of a Chinaberry tree and creates fantasticmushroom shaped \"blooms\".
The deformed wood is then cut away from the tree and carved.
There are 3 carved lizards resting on the bark.
Measures approximately 19\" long x 3 1/2\" wide.
Harvesting this growth saves the tree and simultaneously provideslocal artist a wonderful mediumfor their carving skills throughout Bali & Indonesia.
