This small cat rug was hooked by me, and drawn up by me based on antique rugs I have seen over the years. It would look great on the wall or tacked to a cupboard as an accent piece. Hooked on a sturdy linen base, the mat is made using all textured hand dyed wools in multiple shades of mustard, with a background of several different dyed grungy gray fabrics for a very pleasing composition. Made to look primitive and mellow. The texture on this is amazing. The edge is finished with gray wool yarn whipped over binding tape and sewn down securely. Measures approximately 8 by 13 inches. My label is applied.This rug is so pretty and so very versatile. The photos don\'t fully capture the beauty of the colors. Lovely contrast and heirloom quality.
