Big lacquer plaque, produced in the 1973in the village of Fedoskino, one of the most famous lacquer centers of the USSR. There is a signature of the author plaque - Davydov V.
Fedoskino, Mstera, Palekh, Kholui- known centers of lacquer miniature of Russia.
Dimensions of the plaque 40 x 15 x 1 cm.Condition is generally good, some small chips on back side.
The panel depicts the popular plot \"The Scarlet Flower\". The original plot is drawn in Fedoskino by artist Lipitsky in 1953 (see the last photo).
\"Scarlet Flower\" - a fairy tale of the Russian writer Sergei Timofeevich Aksakov, recorded by him \"from the words of the housekeeper Pelagia\" in 1858. One of the many variations of the plot \"Beauty and the Beast\".
Bright saturated colors, cutting gold. Panels look just awesome in the sunshine!
