This cute clay hedgehog was hand-shaped and hand-painted by Peruvian crafts people. The brown face is unpainted clay. The rest of the body was painted black, with the eyes, tips of some prickles, and toenails added in a white enamel paint, giving them a hard, protective covering and shiny look that stands out from the body.

This figurine is 3 in. long, 1 1/2 in. wide, and 1 3/8 in. tall. Since they are handmade, without using molds, no two of these Peruvian ceramic hedgehogs are exactly alike. New, direct from Peru.
