Hardback book in good condition with its dust cover, comprising 154 pages of information, illustrations, photographs and tables. It gives an informative account of this classic 1st generation turbo prop airliner which was built as a replacement for the Douglas DC3, it was originally designed with four Alvis piston engines, as it was thought the Rolls Royce Dart engine was an unknown/proven engine, this meant that the Focker Friendship and Hawker Siddley 748 were much more successfully aircraft.
