It belonged to friend who had it made for a Christmas gift in 2001. There is what looks like a brass plaque inside saying his name and date.
It has some scratches as you can see in photo. I do not know what kind of wood it is, tone is medium. I can say it doesn\'t look like oak or maple. I think it was made to hold between 250 and 300 cigars. It is a work of art as are all Arlin Liss Humidors and will last a lifetime.
I believe it cost 750 in 2001.
