This is a used pair of handmade double mounted spurs made by Larry Turner. Larry is a long time bit and spur maker from Stratford, Texas and is one of the spur makers invited to participate in the Texas Style Bit and Spur Makers Association Woman\'s Protective Services sale along with other top makers. His spurs are sought after by cowboys and collectors alike. The spurs are marked Turner and the number 103. The spurs are steel with a natural patina and are mounted with twenty four pieces of nickel silver and six pieces of copper. There are marks on the mountings from use. The rowel pins were replaced with oversize pins so they are ready to go again. This would make a great pair of using spurs or a nice pair to add to a collection.
