Handmade TOM WHITACRE Silver Copper Double Mounted Cowboy SPURS:

This is a pair oflightly used double mounted trophy spurs made by Tom Whitacre. Tom is a long time bit and spur maker from Canyon, Texas. All of Tom’s work is hand cut with no laser cut pieces. The spurs are marked inside the heel bands Tom Whitacre, Canyon, Tx, 170, and dated 8-10-2004. The spurs were awarded at the annual Happy Days Rodeo held in Happy, Texas. The spurs are steel with a browned finish and are mounted with forty two pieces of nickel silver and four pieces of copper. The outside bands are mounted with a nickel silver circle engraved with a flower and copper hearts on either side of the circle. The outside buttons are mounted with nickel silver engraved with a flower. The offside bands are mounted in nickel silver with Happy Days and 2004. Tom does really nice work. This would be a nice pair of spurs to wear or to add to a collection.
