Up for sale is a beautifully handcrafted black, African American doll. She is about 12\" tall and has an expressive embroidered face with yarn hair peeking out from under her scarf. She has a brightly colored red and white dress with an apron that features afinely crocheted border. There is an old sewing needle that is pinned onto the dress. She is in nice vintagecondition with her bloomers and slip under her dress as well. There is a seam that has come partly open on the toe of her left shoe, and a very tiny smudge on her apron. Also, there are a couple of small holes on the right side of her face where it appears the seam has pulled apart, and a row of tiny holes along the left side of her dress that looks like a seam was opened and then not reused.(See photos of these areas). Much of this doll is hand stitched, embroidered,or crocheted and shows beautiful workmanship. A nice addition to your collection or a unique gift for someone special! Our shipping includes tracking.
