This pin is one of almost none to survive Hurricane Katrina.
Only a few were given out very quietly to a select group of the opening trainers and designers before the actually opening, planned for Friday, Aug 28th 2005. The soft opening was scheduled for Monday - the same day as the state\'s evacuation order. Hurricane Katrina landed Tuesday and destroyed the Hard Rock Casino when it fell into the Gulf of Mexico. A lot of irreplaceable memorabilia was also lost, a long with most if this pin\'s collection.
This pin set is truly rare b/c of it\'s limited production run coinciding with no distribution and the balance of its inventory destroyed. It\'s in PERFECT condition and comes as shown in the pictures.
You will never see these pins, and in this condition.
