Antique Heart-Shaped Porcelain Ring Box, Hand Painted, Gold Hinge--- This is a spectacular trinket box. It is unique for its small heart shape and even more unusual for a tightly fitted gold hinge connecting lid to body. The same design and hinge were used by the finest European jewelry makers of the day.
This piece came from an estate sale with a similar expensive antique hand-painted porcelain jewelry box and matching porcelain tray marked PMC WITH CROWN dated to the 1890\'s.
A very nice piece! Weighs 4 oz. Measures 2-3/4 x 3 inches.
