For You are 2 very nice old desk pieces. Vintage Heintz Art Metal Sterling Silver On Bronze Card Receiver Plate measures approx.5 3/4\" diameter with sterling overlay on mottled brown patina. The Letter Opener is approx. 8 1/4\" long with matching overlay.The back has the Heintz Art Metal mark as well as Sterling on Bronze and the Patent date Aug 27, (hard to read) As well as R.H. Macy & Co. Inc. The letter opener is not marked, but clearly matched the desk pan. It has a bit of usage wear at tip. Original finish but has some spots as shown.
