Rebuilt and working Hill\'s Model \"A\" ticket dater machine with a 1963-1974 year wheel as shown. I have completely rebuilt this machine and replaced worn parts. It is in good used condition. It has a brand new ink ribbon and rubber striking pad installed as part of rebuild and clean up. The date wheels were removed and cleaned as well.. They turn well and as you can see from the sample impression the machine prints very clearly. The date wheels had to be re-sprung to prevent skipping while striking an impression so they are a little stiff but will advance when needed. It has all the patina and worn paint of a ticket dater that is well over 100 years old. It will print most any Hill\'s Model \"A\" die well as can be seen by the sample impression shown. PLEASE NOT THIS sale IS FOR THE DATER MACHINE ONLY. THE CRI&P DIE I USED TO MAKE THE IMPRESSION SHOWN IS NOT FOR SALE. This is a good chance to own a Hill\'s Model \"A\" dater machine that works well unlike most all the other ticket dater machines offered with the sale of the large Ed Eagan collection.
