This beautiful brown bowl is made by Marie Hjorth (1941- ), the fourth generation Hjorth`s.Marie Hjorth studied in Copenhagen Arts and Craftsschool (Kunsthåndværkerskole).Sisters Marie and Ulla took over factory in 1982 after the father Erik Hjorth.Marie worked with studio ceramics as well as tableware.
L. Hjorth Terracotta Factory ceramic studio was active from 1859 to 1993), Rønne on Bornholm, Denmark.Potter Lauritz Adolph Hjorth (1834-1912) starts to produce 1862 vases and figurines. 1993 closes factory,but in 1995 it will reopened as a working museum.
