Hobby Master was founded by a group of hobby enthusiasts and specialists who endeavored to establish new industrial standards for die-cast collectibles and provide unprecedented levels of enjoyment to customers. Collectors will be amazed by Hobby Master\"s highly innovative and detailed features.
  • An all-metal fighter and ground-attack aircraft, the P-40 Warhawk was first seen in October of 1938. Only the P-51 Mustang and the P-47 Thunderbolt saw a greater production run, and the P-40 remained on front line service with nearly every Allied military through the end of World War II. It was also a popular aircraft in China, first with the American pilots of the Flying Tigers and then with the Chinese themselves following the AVG disbandment. This newly tooled model from Hobby Master is a 1/72 scale, die cast replica of \'White 663,\' a P-40N Warhawk flown by Wang Kuang Fu, a Chinese captain who attained ace status with the 7th Fighter Squadron of the 3rd Fighter Group. It features signature artwork (including a shark mouth nose and Chinese lettering meaning \'Great Grandfather Command\'), engraved panel lines, a rotating propeller, a glazed opening canopy, a well-equipped cockpit (with panel instrumentation and a removable pilot figure), full weapons complement, optional-position landing gear, authentic markings from January of 1945, and a mid-flight display stand. Measures approximately 5.5 in long with a 6.25 in wingspan.
