2005 HOTEL DEL CORONADO Holiday Ornament
Each year, the majestic \"Del\" issues a unique ornament that is one of the hundreds of handmade decorations on their GIGANTIC hotel lobby Christmas tree. Hundreds of visitors from all over Southern California make the trip to Coronado just to see their fantastic tree every year and we are never disappointed! You have to get there in the first couple of days to get one of the limited number of ornaments they set aside for the public. This is the famous lobby that we all saw Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon in starring in \"Some Like it Hot\" in 1959...an American classic as is this wonderful hotel!
The glass ornament is roughly the size of a baseball, blown glass and hand painted with a view of the hotel exterior on one side, and a shore scene \"Holiday by the Sea\" on the other. Classic and lovely and a unique addition to your holiday decoration collection. It comes to you in the issued red linen covered box. Tuck this very special ornament away until the holiday season and surprise yourself with it all over again in December!
