For sale I offer a very large, very cheeky, 30 inchFrenchSFBJ character girl from the early 1900\'s. Her blueeyes have lashes and weredesigned to look upwards. Also she haslovely eye shadowing. She has an open mouth witha largeupper lip. Her mold number 24 is very rare. Coleman\'s COLLECTOR\'S ENCYCLOPEDIA OF DOLLSsays \"character faces seem to be numbered from at least 203 to 252. A few low numbers such as 24 and 52 have alsobeen reported.\" This page also discusses the formation of theupward glancing eyes.I will include a copy of this page when shipping. She is dressed in a very lovely satin dropwaist dresswith mother of pearl buttons. I believe this is original orat leastcorrectfor her She also has lace stockings, shoes, undies and slip. Do not know about age onthese. She comes with 2 wigs. Oneis an old red human hair wig that\'s a little small and the other is a modern brown curlywig.As with many, many SFBG dolls the compo bodies were not so good. Her body was repainted at some point to try tocontrol flaking of composition.A newer exposed flake ison hand. She also has tiny chip on lower eyelid and on pierced ear hole.This largehead has somemold flaws but is otherwisefree of chipsor cracks.All in all she is a very good,huge andrare example of anSFBJ character girl. Her shipping weight with packagingis approx. 10 lbs..
