This is a really nice old BANJO clock probably from the 1930\'s or 40\'s. This baby is huge! It measures nearly 40 inches from the eagle\'s head to the tip if the bottom finial. It has not been damaged or had any major repairs made. The glass tablets have the Pirates theme. It is a good timekeeper having a long drop and a large pendulum. This runs 8days on one winding and strikes the hours and half-hours on a long rod-sounds good too. All the brass is nicely cleaned and polished including the 8 brass balls on the bottom. The face has some light corrosion damage but not bad. The recessed numerals and chapter lines are filled with black wax and are nice and crisp.
